Dr. Sonia Singh takes on new Fracture Liaison Services (FLS) leadership role at Osteoporosis Canada (OC). We are delighted that one of our own BC physicians will be taking on a national role to support FLS development across Canada. In her new role as the OC National FLS Implementation Lead, Dr. Singh will have several key duties:
Provide leadership to continue to develop and update FLS practice and guidelines.
Provide mentorship and training support for new FLS programs across Canada.
Support ongoing quality improvement data collection and reporting to improve FLS.
Explore capacity for Implementation Science Research in the area of FLS on a national basis.
Represent OC internationally with respect to FLS within the global Fragility Fracture Network.
